10th One Book, One Bakersfield, One Kern Read

The One Book Project was led by the Kern County Library, with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools as a supporting agency. The One Book Project adds Kern County to its title for the first time, to refelect the county-wide participation in the One Book Project. The Kick Off was held in the Bakersfield College Renegade Room, with food provided by the Bakersfield College Culinary Arts Program. The author, Eric Schlosser, of Fast Food Nation, made 2 presentations in Bakersfield the read. Also, there was a youth edition of the book, titled Chew On This.
