Annual Dues

Annual dues are for the calendar year, January 1 through December 31. Dues accepted after October 1 will be credited for the following year. Membership includes the quarterly bulletin, Kern Gen.

Regular Events

A general meeting is held the third Tuesday of each month, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Founders Room at Beale Memorial Library, 701 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California.

During each year, the Society hosts at least two bus trips to the Los Angeles area. You do not need to be a member of the Society to participate in the trip. There are also opportunities to attend other Genealogy Society meetings in the area, as well as State, Regional and National Conventions, Seminars, and Workshops.

The Society provides staffing for the Genealogy Room at Beale Memorial Library, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
